I dreamt I was a goddess

a secret wish

Sometimes all I wanted

was to be a goddess

in a marble palace in the sky

Laying on a soft bed

filled with rich blue silks

covered in many veils

The winds would flow

through the rich fabrics of me

and touch my golden, honey flavoured skin

Eating grapes and figs

never worried about the

devouring eternity in immortality

I would simply seize the

forever feeling of being

in all those veils, in the sky

Where all that exits is

grace, and the softness of skin

to skin, of hair falling in waves.

My hands would dance

in the air, swooning for the Moon,

so near, at my side

At night I would be transformed

no longer honey goddess but

made of the marrow of the night

In tip toes I would walk

from my bed to the tip of the

palace/world

And my dress of light, golden brown

would contrast

with the darkest blue sky

And I would see, there it was!

the silver pearl,

illuminating the night

The lullaby of the stars

the sweet song of the owls

the shine of the eternal silence

And I and the Moon

dancing in the sacred waters

of the marble palace

The other goddesses in their corners

would hear our laughter

and join us

And we would dance

and sing with the stars and the owls

and delight on the beauty of our eternal freedom

Later the delicious feast would begin

fruits, breads, sweets

all harvested and made by us

And when the Moon had to leave

we would say good night

and kiss

We would go to our beds

and sleep

a sleep of wonders, filled with dreams
